Migration Guide

Moving from self-hosted Paperclip to HostAgentes? Here's how to migrate your agents with zero downtime.

1

Export your agent configuration

From your self-hosted Paperclip setup, export your agent configuration including model settings, tools, and behavior definitions.

2

Create a HostAgentes account

Sign up at hostagentes.com. Start with a free 14-day Pro trial to test the migration with unlimited agents.

3

Import your configuration

Use the dashboard import tool to upload your agent configuration. We will parse your config and create an equivalent agent on our platform.

4

Transfer persistent memory

Export your agent's vector store and key-value data, then import it from the dashboard. Your agent will remember everything it knew before.

5

Update your API endpoint

Point your application to the new HostAgentes API endpoint. Both endpoints can run in parallel during the transition.

6

Verify and decommission

Monitor both setups for 24–48 hours. Once correct operation is confirmed, decommission your self-hosted instance.
